BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in a small town near Toronto, Ontario, Corey recently wrapped 52 episodes of Lassie, a 90s version of the famous 1950s TV series. Filmed in Montreal for the past two years, the new series stars Corey as Timmy, the young boy devoted to his resourceful collie, Lassie. The series airs on the YTV cable network in Canada, the Animal Planet cable channel in the United States, and in over 40 countries elsewhere in the world.

The personable young actor also played the lead in a one-hour Goosebumps special which was regarded by the producers as one of the best episodes of 199~. The production company was so impressed with his performance that they selected him to represent Goosebumps in a special contest promotion in the southern U.S. Corey also recently landed the lead role in a two-part season finale episode of Goosebumps.

Corey's acting career began at age six in a TV commercial for Sears. He has since appeared in 15 other TV commercials. His first principal film role was at age seven in the ABC television mini-series Family Pictures, portraying the son of the characters played by Sam Neill and Anjelica Huston. Corey has also appeared in 17 film and television productions with such well-known stars as Cheryl Ladd, Kate Jackson, Amy Madigan, Dan Aykroyd, Richard Thomas, Pamela Reed, Kyra Sedgewick, and Robert Urich.

Summer of the Monkevs is Corey' s first leading role in a feature film. It also stars Michael Ontkean, Lesley Hope, and Vjilfred Brimley. The film recently won the prestigious Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis.

Corey is currently playing one of the lead roles in the new TV series Little Men, based on the book by Louisa May Alcott, which is airing on the new Pax network in the U.S.A.
