2007- Lassie wins Critics Choice Award

2007- Lassie wins AARP Magazine Award for "Best Movie for Grown Ups"

2006- Lassie Wins TV Land Icon Award

2006- Lassie and Morris receive the Star Pet Award

1997- Lassie became the Spokesdog of the American Library Association

1995- "Lassie, Best Friends Are Forever" won a Young Artist Award for Best Family Motion Picture - Drama

1978- At the premiere of "The Magic of Lassie" at Radio City Music Hall, Lassie danced with the Rockettes.

1967- Lassie was awarded a US Citation for the Program for Conservation at a reception hosted by Lady Bird Johnson on behalf of the beautification program Mrs. Johnson sponsored.

Lassie received a Conservation Award from the US Department of Agriculture for significant public service by it's contribution to conservation education.

1967- At a senate luncheon, Lassie was given a plaque recognizing his environmental record, as portrayed during the Ranger Days of the series. A dog had never been allowed in the Senate before and never was again until service dogs were allowed to accompany disabled owners.

1963- Lassie works with the US Forest Service on the "Please Don't Litter" campaign

May, 1958- Lassie Gold Awards established to honor hero dogs. This program ran for 15 years and was sponsored by Red Heart Dog Food

1956- Lassie teamed up with the Lone Ranger to sell US Savings Bonds

1955- Lassie won the Emmy for Best Children's Series

Lassie was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the US Coast Guard for his part in a real life rescue off Catalina Island. While traveling on his boat and anchored for the night, he work his master from a deep sleep and wouldn't stop barking until Rudd went to investigate. At first Rudd saw nothing, but Lassie persisted until Rudd heard voices in the distance. A small boat was drifting helplessly without lights or power and 3 people were on board. Rudd towed the boat back to port and Lassie won the Coast Guard award.

As a result of a Lassie TV show episode that involved children on a nature trail with braille, a Braille trail was created in San Bernandino, CA, the Whispering Pines Nature Trail .

Lassie has won 3 Patsy Awards, a Peabody Award and 3 Parent Teacher Association Awards

Lassie has been Grand Marshall of the Annual Dog Parade in Hollywood, CA numerous times.

LA Mayor Sam Yortip had an annual Christmas party for underpriviledged children of LA at City Hall with Lassie as Special Guest.

Lassie has appeared in the Rose Parade three times

Lassie was once the honoree of the TV show "This is Your Life", hosted by Bob Hope

Lassie officially opened the Palm Springs Ramada Inn kennels.

Lassie received the Good Deeds Citation from the Boy Scouts of America

Lassie received the Tuberculosis Association Award of Merit

Lassie received the California Women's Club Conservation Award

Lassie received Citation from Air, Water and Pollution Sub-committee of the US Senate.

Lassie received the title of Honorary State Fire Warden of the US Forest Service

Lassie received the Honorary Citizen of the State of Florida Award

Lassie received the Honorary Crew Member Award of the Mississippi River boat "Mark Twain"

There is a permanent "Lassie Room" at Meramee Caverns in Stanton, MO.
